Facilitator
Lucy has over 14 years experience developing, delivering and managing creative projects and learning programmes.
Through a multi-disciplinary approach, Lucy works in a variety of environments, including family centres, museums and festivals. Lucy works inclusively across all of the roles that she undertakes - from Workshop Artist to Project Manager - and collaborations have involved a range of community groups. Lucy has managed large-scale projects on behalf of commissioners including Oxford City Council, Crisis and the Museum of Oxford.
Since co-founding OVADA Associates in 2013, Lucy has programmed events and opportunities for the network of artists and supporters of contemporary art over the past eight years. She often works in collaboration with other creatives and dynamic artist-led initiatives.
Lucy has been invited as a juror for selection panels, including the University of Oxford’s ‘Art and Photography Competition’ organised by the University College Arts Committee. She has been a guest speaker and panellist for major institutions including Modern Art Oxford, OVADA, University of Oxford (History of Art Department) and Oxford Brookes University (School of Arts).
Lucy has mentored young people from GCSE through to undergraduate level. She is currently teaching Fine Art as an Associate Lecturer, specialising in professional practice, creative career development, enterprise and student placements.
